Arctic ice melting into history

Sad to say but our actions are currently leading to our demise. It is about time we change. See the article here

Water to fuel

Converting water to fuel is one of the best ways to save money spent on gas. It helps improve fuel economy. It gives you a chance protect the environment by reducing your dependence on oil therefore in effect reduce the amount of carbon dioxide emission you put into the atmosphere. You through your actions is given the opportunity to also reduce our dependence on ethanol, therefore reducing our dependence on corn based fuel. That will help to increase the amount of corn available for food which will help to reduce food prices.

Life is one big chain, you see everything is connected. The actions you take today will have an impact on the world tomorrow. It is really tough when you have to pay so much for the essentials in life. It can be so burdensome. That is why am encouraging you to take what ever action you can take to help preserve our environment. If you check out my last post you will see where I made a comment on the plans outlined by Al Gore to have America running on one hundred percent renewable energy in ten years. That is a solid vision and if we could all get on board it would be such a great achievement.

Using water as fuel is one such method that we can use to help make an impact. It does not cost forever to set up and before you know it, you will be saving so much on gas. Water is the source of life people normally say. But could this really be the break through that we need. Only time will tell. See yah. Do check out my page about converting water to fuel. How the water fuel cell really works

First I will quickly say what the water fuel cell does. The water fuel kit is a device that when placed in your car allows you to run your car with water and gas.

Here is a general idea of how it works.

The water cell is set up in a small flask. In the flask water is mixed with a metal hydride to speed up the reaction. An electric current is then passed through the fuel cell which causes water molecules to split into hydrogen and oxygen. It is from this that the cell is able to produce energy to help power your car. In the end you save money and you protect the environment because the only by product of the reaction is pure H2O aka Water. Don’t get this wrong energy is not just created spontaneously without some input. The downside to this is in the production of the metal hydrides because they do not occur naturally.

One reason gas prices are so high.

I got this startling news from a friend check it out and see how you can help.

Please Help Fight America’s Oil Crisis…

Hi Friend,

The oil price bubble is unfairly taxing American families and restricting our nation’s economic potential. I sent a message to Congress asking them to adopt common-sense solutions, and I urge you to take a moment to send a message, too. Congress can dramatically reduce the price of oil and gas, providing immediate relief for businesses and hard working Americans, and your letter will help make our elected officials be more aware how high energy prices are hurting hard working Americans.

Dear James Wright,

An Open letter to All Airline Customers:

Our country is facing a possible sharp economic downturn because of skyrocketing oil and fuel prices, but by pulling together, we can all do something to help now.

If you are in a hurry and don’t have time to read this report please visit www.StopOilSpeculationNow.com.

For airlines, ultra-expensive fuel means thousands of lost jobs (including mine…I’m being furloughed [layed off] on the 14th of July) and severe reductions in air service to both large and small communities. To the broader economy, oil prices mean slower activity and widespread economic pain.

This pain can be alleviated, and that is why we are taking the extraordinary step of writing this joint letter to our customers.

Since high oil prices are partly a response to normal market forces, our nation needs to focus on increased energy supplies and conservation.

However, there is another side to this story because normal market forces are being dangerously amplified by poorly regulated market speculation…(George Bush and Dick Cheney are involved).

Twenty years ago, 21 percent of oil contracts were purchased by speculators who trade oil on paper with no intention of ever taking delivery. Today, oil speculators purchase 66 percent of all oil futures contracts, and that reflects just the transactions that are known.

Speculators buy up large amounts of oil and then sell it to each other again and again. A barrel of oil may trade 20-plus times before it is delivered and used; the price goes up with each trade and consumers pick up the final tab. Some market experts estimate that current prices reflect as much as $30 to $60 per barrel in unnecessary speculative costs.

Over seventy years ago, Congress established regulations to control excessive, largely unchecked market speculation and manipulation. However, over the past two decades, these regulatory limits have been weakened or removed.

We believe that restoring and enforcing these limits, along with several other modest measures, will provide more disclosure, transparency and sound market oversight. Together, these reforms will help cool the over-heated oil market and permit the economy to prosper.

The nation needs to pull together to reform the oil markets and solve this growing problem.

We need your help. Get more information and contact congress by visiting

How are you coping with high gas prices?

Hi there I just wanted to have an idea how you are responding to high gas prices.

  • I know some people have turned to their bicycles.
  • Some people are so desperate they see life as being hopeless.
  • Some people have decided to use the train.
  • Others are taking buses.
  • There are those who have canceled their long anticipated beach trip for a location that is less entertaining but cheaper to reach.
  • Some are determined not to let the prices impact too heavily on their lives.
  • People are doing more walking.
  • There are those who choose to stay at home instead of going out as they normally do.
  • Some have found ways to conserve energy around the home.
  • Others are driving their car on water. Click Here!
  • Some are driving non at all.
  • What are you doing?

Foot for gas

Many people are parking their cars and turning to the pedals of bicycles and other such machines for traveling. It was about time I would say. There is no exercise in driving to work, standing up in an elevator or sitting down at a desk all day. Have a little fun and ride a bike.

Riding a bicycle to work is nothing strange or odd. Bicycles are one of the main means of transport in Japan and China. Conditions are not much different in the western world. They are also a popular occurrence in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Besides being fun bicycles are a great way for exercise and are good for running short errands. Due to the cost of gas, many liberties that people used to have are being taken away. They have to survive and they are adapting. If you do not know how to ride a bicycle. Here is a little advice before you bruise a knee or elbow. Taking care of drought threatened areas

Drought has always been one of the biggest threats to animal and plant life. It can be caused from natural reasons or simply by people carrying out bad environmental practices. What ever the reason it is still a problem. Studies that have been carried out are suggesting that the increase in global warming is causing many rivers to dry up. Most of these rivers supply large areas with food, irrigation and water for domestic purposes.

Considering all these I wonder if it would be possible for us to really advance the idea to use pressurized air for fuel in vehicles especially trucks. If this drought continues we might have to start trucking water from desalination plants both for irrigation and consumption. Even if drought is not a problem in every part of the world but I think it is a good suggestion for the most badly affected ares.

We cannot sit and wait until everyone starts depending on a particular section of the world for food, that could be disastrous. There might be other more immediate ways. I guess water could also be pumped from these plants with wind powered or solar powered pumps. Just a suggestion.

An Ear In The Form Of The World Bank President at G8

Finally someone with a little ear at the top listens to the pleas of the people. Based on reports, the World Bank President Robert Zoellick called on the rich countries to revise their policies as it relates to the use of biofuels such as ethanol and biodiesel. This appeal was made at the three day G8 summit being held in Japan. The issue of rising food prices and food shortages were some of the key issues to be addressed in the talks.

Biofuels compromise food production in many ways. First of the two main ones is that most biofuels are made from corn and other grains. The grains by themselves normally fill the roll of being used as direct food in their many processed forms for humans. In addition, it is used as feed for the animals which we depend on for food. Secondly in the case of non grain ethanol, the feedstock (raw material from which ethanol is made) is grown on land which could otherwise be used to plant other food items.

I think they should have realized this problem much earlier and reacted more swiftly. However this was not the case. We are here at a stage where most people having lost their jobs, have to go home and sit and watch while being plagued by hunger. But since people always say there is no use complaining about spilled milk, I take a more positive note. I hope the leaders heed the suggestions and act quickly so that more people can be relieved of the increased burden.

With the creation of new technology such as the new water for gas campaigns, I hope people will catch on quickly to it as well as the other technologies that will help to reduce the need for fossil fuels and biofuels. To run your car with water, it requires the use of a homemade water or hydrogen fuel cell that can be placed in cars, thus enabling vehicles to run on more water and less gas. Cool isn’t it.

Why were fuel efficiency ideas rejected?

It is not really clear to me why most fuel efficiency ideas were rejected in the past. It does not make sense. Surely there were no high gas prices five to ten years ago. I think at that time we could really afford to buy gas without suffering much. But there were a few hints and issues that could have told the auto companies that “hey we should probably increase the efficiency of our products”.

First there was smog. Smog is causing an increase in the number of respiratory illnesses around the major cities. People were being diagnosed every day. There were even those who died from the severity of damage to there lungs. That should have been reason enough. But if that was not enough there was also the issue of acid rain.

Acid rain is formed when the gas emissions containing sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide and other emission products combine with rain water to form acids. The acid rain causes the deterioration of metals and other materials in building and such alike. It also threatens food supply in that it was armful to both fish, plants and other animals.

There was also the mention of an increase in global warming which has the effects of causing more hurricanes/typhoons, tornadoes, drought, flooding, melting of the polar ice caps and the complete destruction or wipe out of small islands.

Scientist also told of the possibility of oil shortages in the future because the amount of oil in wells had already passed the peak. They said danger was ahead and the best thing was to change out the fuel systems before it was too late and start using the alternatives.

Was that not reason enough for these companies to changes their ways and advance their systems to be more efficient and probably turn to the many suggested alternatives? Thankfully our independent scientist had not been deterred by disappointment. Most of them kept on researching even though their ideas were rejected. That is why in the near future they can probably do as Thomas Edison and so many other scientists did by selling their inventions on their own directly to the consumers. And let sleeping dogs lie.
